Kawena— A native of Kona, whose family goes back for generations on the Big Island of Hawaii. Kawena was exposed to Lomi Lomi massage at a young age when he watched people receive treatments by his grandfather.
After 13 years of professional landscape gardening on Oahu and Kauai he gravitated back towards Lomi Lomi massage.
Kawena moved back to Kona and trained at Aunty Margaret’s School of Hawaiian Massage and received his State Certification and License of Massage Therapy.
Lisa—Massage is Lisa’s passion and has been since 1991. She owned a successful Lomi Lomi practice in Sydney Australia and then moved to Hawaii where she met and married her husband Kawena.
Lisa was trained in Lomi Lomi Massage at Aunty Margaret’s School of Hawaiian Massage and specializes in Pohaku Wela (Hawaiian Hot Stone Massage), Pregnancy massage, Aromatherapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Kinesiology, Reiki and Healing Sound Therapy. Each massage is personalized to you.
For 5 1/2 years Kawena and lisa owned and operated Ola Mai Ka Lani Massage in the King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel which is the headquarters for the Ironman Triathlon. Year after year they were privileged to massage many of the tri-atheletes.
